Flatwater Kayaking

Kayaking in the Peak District
Kayaking in the Peak District

Kayaks are small single-person boats, that are paddled with a double-ended paddle. You’ll progress really quickly, but sometimes you might lose concentration and take an accidental early bath! If so don’t worry, because you’ll be accompanied by a qualified instructor, who will help you back in to your boat and give you lots of tips to help stay upright in your boat.

Kayaking is suitable for all from age 10 upwards. You’ll need to be water confident (able to swim 25 meters).

Course Duration & Cost

Standard prices are £75 per person per day or £45 per person for a half day. Discounted dates for solo-bookers are published through our online booking system and private group bookings are also available.

Until our old home venue at Toddbrook Reservoir is back in action, we’ll recommend a suitable location for you when you enquire – all venues will be in this north-west Peak District area.
