Not to be underestimated, the ever-changing terrain and weather of the ruggedly beautiful Yorkshire Dales will test your physical stamina and capabilities, and push you to your absolute limits!
When you reach that final summit of Ingleborough, it is all worth it for the amazing views you will have seen and the sense of achievement at doing something so different. For many walkers, this will be the challenge of a lifetime.
With every £1 you raise you will buy 1 square metre of land for S.A.L.V.E. International in Jinja, Uganda. Every step you take will be helping children leave the streets and have a safe and secure home.
Starting in Horton the circular route takes you up Pen-y-ghent, onto Whernside, up Ingleborough and then back to Horton. Our goal is that this demanding 26 mile hike across these famous three peaks will take less then 14 hours!
As a S.A.L.V.E. International walker you will receive:
- A comprehensive fundraising pack full of advice and sponsorship forms
- A specially designed t-shirt
- Lunch is provided
- Advice on training, kit and accomadation
- Unique certificates for all walkers
- A pre-walk registration and briefing
- You will be accompanied by a fully qualified and insured Mountain Leader from Wilderness Development
There will be a friendly support crew with hot drinks, flapjack galore and lunch is provided for you on the day.
You can also take part in the event as a personal challenge or to fundraise for a different organisation if you prefer.
Registration fee: £45 to cover all the above.
Minimum Sponsorship:£100 where every penny goes to S.A.L.V.E. to support our work. You can either choose to fundraise or pay a small donation yourself to take part in the challenge.
