Volunteers needed for WWSR cover at BUCS Slalom 18-19 Feb, Teeside

It’s that time of year again when we ask for volunteers to help us provide the rescue cover for the students at this year’s BUCS Slalom at the Tees Barrage. We need people to help provide safety cover on the weekend of 18-19 February, 2012.

What’s in it for you
Tea/Coffees
Lots of white water rescue practice!

All are welcome, you don’t need any formal qualifications, and you can do any job from dry throwlining from the bank, to chaseboating, to live-baiting. Bring your friends! There’s lots more info about the event itself here:  http://www.bucsslalom.org.uk/

If this sounds good to you, get in touch!

This means that until 14 August 2011, it’s going to take a little longer than normal to reply to emails. You can still make bookings online, and you should be able to find all the information that you need on this site. Your bookings and emails will be replied to as soon as possible on my return.
